About Track My Test

Track My Test is made by External Software LLC, an independent software company in Greenville, South Carolina.

Where it comes from

External Software started out building custom software for healthcare and laboratories: integrations between clinical systems, specimen tracking and real-time reporting. The same problems came up again and again. Samples were hard to find once they went into a freezer, nobody could say exactly how long a step took, and front desks spent their days answering "where is my test?".

Track My Test is our answer, built as a product that small and mid-size labs can set up themselves in a web browser, with the barcode scanners they already own. You can read the announcement, Introducing Track My Test, on the External Software blog.

How we build it

Other software from the same makers

Hark is External Software's meeting recorder for Windows, Mac and Linux. It records from your own computer with no bot joining the call, transcribes on the computer and tells the speakers apart. Like Track My Test, it connects to Claude over MCP.

Kelpic® is property-management software for landlords and property managers, made by our sister company Kelpic LLC, also in Greenville. It handles rent, leases, maintenance and accounting, and it connects to AI assistants too. We compare how the three products work with Claude inconnect Claude to your business software.

External Software also publishes free browser tools and a list of all our software.
